    Mistakes happen, it’s how you deal with them.

    If me, i’d be embarrassed i’d not noticed and offer a full refund and sort postage. I’d chalk it down to experience and the importance of checking stuff over before you sell it.

    Andyl ….. Its a rear pro 2 evo hub which sell for more than £30-35 used.

    Also I cant build wheels which is why I was asking about rebuild costs.

    I dont think he is a bit of a dick but feel it is a bit cheeky to offer a partial refund that wouldnt cover the price of the hub and rebuild. He has since said he will contact hope today

    Was looking on the phone so thought it was a front. Rear would be around £55-75 for a 40T. You will get £25-30 back for the freehub if it’s in good condition so it won’t be that expensive to sort.

    My comment was to someone suggesting you try and claim on a warranty when you are not the original purchaser. Hope have a reputation for going above and beyond so it annoys me when people take the pee.
