If there is such a thing as a regional haircut then I suspect that this might be 'a Wigan'

'A Wigoff':
I once got my dreads entangled with a another dready in a moshpit (hurt like chuff)
Elfinsafety - MemberThat's not unique to Stamford Hill though is it ffs...
I seen same ting in Golders Green, Wembley and Finchley.
You're right, I've dismissed a whole swathe of London with that. Never been to any of those places.
By way of apology, have one for High Barnet:
Uggh you've just reminded me of the smell of sweaty dreads at D&B nights.

Wow, spent most of my life near Wigan, never saw that hairdo, that's a shocker.
There's a distinct "almost but not quite" mohawk hairdo around the rougher of these parts.
Is the oasis one even classed as a cut... It's just an out of control mop, just like mine.
It's not seen a pair of clippers for 6 months.

luckily I'm a posh Cheshire boy
I went to Stoke, once. It was only September but it was bloody freezing.
In spite of the bitter cold, there were young ladies out dressed only in boob-tubes and wide belts.
I don't think some of them had any pants on, either.
wide belts.
I believe the local colloquialism for that is mingewinker
I understood them to also be called 'greyhounds', but being an innocent young lad, I have no idea what this means.
No pants though; they'll catch their death.
OP - I think that style is called the cock o' the north.
Now that is funny.
I shall use it in conversation.
Cant help but think their haircut would be pretty disadvantageous in a street rumble....
You're having a laugh aren't you? Did you never play Syndicate?

Hmmm there could be something in this......
You get an explosion of that old-enough-to-know-better Manc 'do in the OP's pictures on the Isle of Wight on the bank holiday weekend of a scooter rally.
