I’m off on my jollies to Aberystwyth next week and am looking for some local mtb routes. I am aware of Nant yr Arian and will be checking that out but any other suggestions in the local area?

I think there’s a couple of routes in the VG Wales MTB Guidebook that might suit as well

Also, not too far to get into the Elan Valley, Trans Cambrian Trail etc

A little bit further out is Machynlleth with the Climachx amongst others.

Not ridden it for quite a while though so no idea what it’s like these days.
