That’s an option for when I have an unexpected and hefty inheritance.

Nobeer – got to be 29in, my experience is that it gives big advantages for the riding I want to do.

BMC Trailfox in large is close, but maybe too much travel for what you want. Seat mast is down as 480mm though, although standover is 745 while the medium is 440 and 735 respectively, so if your seat tube height is wanting a low top tube then it sort of fits.

Yeah, 4 out of 6 criteria met, real close that.

I suspect seat tube length is to do with dropper posts, with a 125mm dropper I cant go past about 450-460, without a dropper I could be riding a 585 frame but it’d be completely impractical.

    29in wheels
    Short or mid-travel
    460mm reach
    450mm-ish seat tube
    430mm chainstays
    67deg-ish head angle

Does a Canfield Nimble 9 (in large) come close enough?
    29in wheels
    140mm travel
    457mm reach
    483mm seat tube
    414mm chain stays
    66.5 head angle

The trailfox is a bit long travel and heavy yeah.

I’d like a bike that could race xc without too much of a struggle.

    Not another one lad?
Why not just hold off on one bike change, about 6 weeks?? And then go full custom!

    Haha – wot Andy_K says!!
