How can I tell if it is? The last click has a very obvious effect on rebound damping but from there I can't tell it all seems quite fast. Should I be able to tell click by click or is it only by riding that you can know.

Is it normal for the shock to make noise on rebound? Nothing nasty or graunching just the sound of moving fluids inside it?

The shock had a air can service only a month ago and the shop inspected it and said it was fine but there have been 10 big days in Scotland since then.

Any advice would be great.

Are you getting full travel, or is it ramping up early into it's stroke? That and the slooshing sound may be pointing to a leaked nitrogen charge, frothy shock oil won't do much for your damping either.

Squelchy noise upon compression is the sound of the shock having cavitated, nitrogen mixing with the oil likewise said above. Full service time.

Hmm, I thought that sound meant bad news. Shock now removed from bike and ready for send off.
