Running raceface diabolus 1.5 risers at the mo at 710mm and thinking of going wider but not sure if there are any other bars with 1.5 rise.

Sunline, Renthal and Nukeproof all do wide (745+) bars in 38mm (1.5″) rise.

Whether it’s worth it is all down to personal preference. I’m broad shouldered and currently running 745’s but contemplating chopping 1/2″ off each end as I think they are a little too wide as they are.

I had settled on 710 as being ideal because I’d used it on other bikes. I duly set up a 325.5 build using 710 bars, but then I discovered the bike was doing my knees in. I worked out it was the seat tube angle that was doing it, so I had to move the seat foreward to save my knees. It achieved my aim but then the cockpit felt cramped and I had a 100mm stem already and didn’t fancy going any longer so I moved to a 740 bar. Seems to work better and it feels better.

No set rules might be the rule.
