Had my current Schwalbe Racing Ralph (Double Defence) rear tyre on for about 6 months now. It's done a reasonable mileage, but nothing ridiculous – just on average a 20km ride 3 weeks out of 4.

It's been running well until I heard the tell-tale his on the firetrack climb at Laggan last week. That sealed up okay, but I had another hole today on the final descent at Innerleithen. Both holes were on the top of the tyre (not the sidewall), and were quite small. The sealant did its job reasonably well. 2 holes in 2 rides seems a bit much though. Time for a new tyre? How long do people get out of Racing Ralphs?
