  • Is it possible to search using someone's username?

It seems that if you use the “search forum” facility you can only find usernames if that username has come up in the subject or content of a post.

Is there a way to search for posts by a particular user? Apologies if this is a dumb question and I’ve missed something obvious.

use advanced search and select posts by user name from the drop down box. Give it a few seconds to populate the username list though.

…or just go to the user’s forum history if you’re not after something specific

There we go, I did miss something obvious. Cheers aracer!

Stoner – didn’t realise I had to wait for the list to populate. Makes sense though.

…I should also have pointed out that you get the link I gave by clicking on the “Member” to the right of the username at the top of a forum post.

…or you can copy and paste “http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/profile/XYZ” into the address box of your chosen browser and replace XYZ with the user’s forum name if you know it.
