copaslip on my pedals attaching them to the crank arms? I have no normal grease and this is the next best thing i have- so will it work and not rot the thread etc?

should be fine – you just want to stop them corroding, really.

cheers, good to know as it wont stop me fitting them/using them this weekend…

also will this stop the thread from being hard to unscrew in the future should i need to take them off? just had a right ball ache getting off my old pedals due to not having any grease on them what so ever? assuming it will make life easier at a later date with a smear of copaslip?

yes. Seizing takes a while though so you would have been OK "dry" in the short term.

copperslip is better than grease for this type of application IMO.

copperslip is much better than grease for this application.

grease is for moving parts, copper slip is for ANY threads and unions that shouldnt move but are wanted to be removable in the future
