  • is it bad to charge batteries cold?

    Came in from a night ride the other night, was about 1 degree outside and put the battery straight on charge. Is it bad to do this when they’re that cold, or does it make sod all difference?

    Better if they are cold. The charging process generates heat and too much heat will kill them. Some fast chargers even have built in battery cooling to help.
