I have two emails saying that I dont have a Psychology lecture today, and two saying that I do. I have a further email saying that there are no formal Psychology lectures. All emails are from the course tutors. Is it a test?

I doubt it, from my experience of psychology lecturers then it's probably because they are pished. I can tell you're new to this student game as you still go to lectures.

At caley all lectures have to be written up and put on blackboard, so if there is a lecture today you will still be able to get hold of the notes. Anyway it's the first week back all that will happen is the lecturer saying 'during this module you will learn this and this and you will have to sit an exam blah blah blah'. Go back to bed!

Mema – this is my second week of lectures, only course in the place that had lectures in freshers week. I've got go go in later anyway, so might as well go show face. If its not on i'll go poke some people.

Its a holiday for the academics tomorrow so don't expect them to be around late this afternoon!

Perhaps it's a Psychology test to see how clever you are.

Depite conflicting e-mails.
I assume you have one lecture room so i'd turn up there and then complain if no lecturer turns up, also e-mail them back to ask where the informal lecture is.

In failing to turn up and not inquire where the possible informal lecture is, you show yourself to not be sure nad understanding of confusing situations, therefore not understanding confused mind sets.
Isn't that what Phychologists are meant to be good at?
