Im planning to head up and do the red on Saturday but given all the mental weather I was wondering what the conditions were like? Not too fussed if its a bit slushy/snowy but if its all ice then it might be a bit of a nightmare. Has anyone been up the last few days? Whats it like? Cheers and Happy New Year…

Rideable upto Buzzards car park, the jump park and anything further is a push (or throw) your bike and walk.

Thanks for the info guys. Looks a bit more work than I thought, given it would be my first ride in months…

The best bet just now for a ride in the Peebles area are the DH trails at Innerleithen. Push up is deep snow in places and the top road has over a foot of snow but under the trees the tracks are fine with just a few inches, I've been up a couple of times in the last week and it was very ridable and good fun! My mate's up there now actually but I'm sat at home 'working' boo!
