  • Is algal green/black gunge off a windowsill poisonous?

    Our 1 year old may have eaten some gunge off the windowsill this weekend. Now since the weekend she's been sickening and is now puking up a lot and has diarrhoea.

    The question is, specifically – is there some kind of pathogen that can grow inside you and take three or four days to grow and make you ill?

    I say may have – she's been eating everything for months – like they do… so it could of course have been anything she ate. Just that the crud made me wonder if there was something specific.
