    Anyone own one?

DW link, 5 ins travel, 6 1/4lbs frame weight, builds into 28lb-29lb bike (approx).

Looks like the MkIII's intended use is similar to Turner 5 Spot, ie 'Trail/AM' rather than 'XC/Trail' (I hate labels, but these serve a purpose I suppose).

I'm seeking a lightish, very good climbing/accelerating 'trail' bike to ride around Surrey Hills and do the occasional Enduro on. Ideally seeking a 4" travel, rapid accelerating but still-well-mannered-descending bike.

Welcome views/opinions on the IH MkIII

I've been riding one since early 07. Only issue I had was a cracked swingarm, but that should be sorted on 08.
Mine is fairly heavy duty with a Pike & bash ring, but the ride is superb, still raced XC but it's a bit heavy for that.
Certainly cheaper than a Turner or Ibis & rides just as well.
