After the success of the LCD screen last week this weeks tech trauma is….Friend of mine’s iTouch went for a swim last week! Dried it out in rice for a few days(tip from here) switched it on, it is now asking for a 10 digit code! Unable to input the code, so what is the solution?

    Google says.

    1) Connect the iPod Touch
    2) Press and hold sleep+home until the device reboots.
    3) Keep holding until that “please connect me to iTunes”-screen appears
    4) iTunes says something about having detected a touch in recovery mode. Allow it to do its thing.

If you get the -18 error, proceed:

    5) Disconnect the iPod Touch
    6) Close iTunes
    7) Reconnect the iPod Touch
    8) iTunes launches and shows message as in step 4, but this time, the recovery will work

**PS THE “HOME BUTTON” IS the that button on the bottom of the ipod touch screen which is pretty easy to find since there is no button on the ipod touch but that one and the sleep awake button is offcourse the one you use to turn it off or put it to sleep
