right…i’m about to smash my pc and ipod up cos its not syncing properly

I loaded all my cd’s on itunes a while back and now want to sync to a 16gb nano. Its not a new nano.

when i select sync entire library, the blue bar fills up and all the memory appears used and ready to go. Press sync and it appears to be doing the full sync. after a few mins when its done, there are only a few albums on the ipod and the blue bar shows only a few gb of memory used.

there are no error msgs during sync…..i’m stumped… any one know what the problem is, any suggestions?

Try selecting all the songs you want then drag them onto your iPod on the left hand side instead of syncing.

On your track list on itunes have you got all the boxes checked? If not it will transfer only the tracks that are “checked”

Have you used it as a storage device and have files on it that aren’t recognised by itunes? Try setting it back up as a storage device in itunes and see what files are on it using windows explorer and check the reported file size and free space.
