Just got an iPad, anyone got any recommendations for good, preferably free apps for a 2.5 year old boy?

    iPad books:
    Hujo the boy giant
    Tickle finger
    Princess Chocolate

    Peppa pig party games

All brilliant, and sometimes I let the lad play on them too…..

We find the colouring ones very popular, as does putting recent pictures of our girls on there – they love looking back over things they have done.

Not free but a beautifully made interactive book that my little boy loves:

The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr Morris Lessmore.

My 2.5yo daughter lives the Peppa Pig games (sports day and party).
Little Fox Music Box (or something like that) is good too.

    Yep that too.

New iplayer app is going to let us download stuff to keep for 30 days too.
