    You know when your fingers automatically complete a particular word through force of habit – even if you were aiming for something else?

    I just tried to type the word “endure” for a work thing – and it came out as “enduro”.

    Made me smile anyway.

    Not quite the same thing but, I’ve been typing it on almost a daily basis since the mid 90s and I still typo “administrator” more often than I get it right on a first attempt. A pox on Microsoft and all their houses for not using “admin”.

    Yes, I sell BMUs at work (Building Maintenance Units), but as classic BMW bike owner and forum user, as you could probably imagine I’ve sent out a few quotes for BMWs…

    I type something along the lines of:

    pubic int Id { get; set; }

    … at least a dozen times a day.

    You can tell people who work in IT by their inability to type “serve” correctly; an “r” magically appears at the end each time…
