I put an ad on the classifieds last night for some music CDs and movie DVDs that I am selling. I suggested that anyone interested email me for the list. However someone else suggested that to save the hassle(?) of having to e-mail me for the list, that I could put it on a hosting site. Any ideas of one I could use to do this?

I use dropbox for that sort of stuff. Its good for simple file sharing like you want and great for sharing stuff between a couple of computers.

Sorted it myself. Done it through Google Docs. Ain't it amazing what you can do on the internet these days.
