I’m planning on a 4 month ride from Istanbul to Glasgow next year- any recommendations for an insurance company?

    The one’s I’ve tried won’t do more than 90 days…

    Cheers

    Cheers chaps,

Will check those out. Dogtag looks like a good option…

Check your home insurance too if it’ll be empty, most have a (short) limit on how long they’ll insure it empty.

From Istanbul to Motherwell you will be fine….. but when you cross the Glasgow City Boundary, probably no insurance company in the world would be mad enough to cover you….. 😉

Have you checked with the ctc’s insurance partner? I think i used them last year, albeit for less thn 90 days, as they include repatriating yor kit in teh cover. You don’t have to be a ctc member. The BMC’s insurance loked pretty good too, but were more expensive for me once BMC membership had been included, needed to get a discount.
