Evening,
This may sound like a tupid question but…I have just installed the seat post on my frame/build and before I sat on it I could get it in and out with no problem but hving sat on it I had to exert much more force to move it. Should I lightly grease the post or seat tube in order to make it easier to move/remove to transport or will this make it slippy?

As I say stupid question.
