Hi, I am looking at buying some Inov8 trail shoes. Alas no local retailiers. How do they compare to Adidas for fit and performance I am a Size 12 in them.

Probably about the same. I found both of them came up small on me. I take a 12 Brooks and Salomon, but Inov8 12 and Adidas 12 were both too small, and stepping up a size meant they were too wide. Both manufacturers seem to use an odd shaped last for the larger sizes.

Have a vague recollection that innov8 got 2 different last styles performance/endurance so it depends on the shoe and which one it uses for sizing so may be worth looking on their site…

Ones a tighter fit others wider I think.

I have trailroc & roclite by innov8. Need a 46 but have a 45 for every other shoe. They do a standard and wide fit. Even the standard is fairly wide, to allow your toes to spread out when running. Bit of a punt buying running shoes without trying first. I assume you have found a good deal from sportshoedirect or similar?

Also sized up with Innov8 mudclaw.
