the only difference would be thickness cos some expensive tubes are dh tubes and some are thinner, xc tubes.

I run conti supersonics on my road bike, average a puncture every 1500miles or so, which isn’t too bad!

Off road I just run whatever’s to hand, average ones are arround 150g IIRC and can be got for about 3 for a tenner most places.

    Anyone tried these?

    Or these?

Almost seems too good to be true, even with the nails sticking out of it.

I have Schwalbe lightweight ones, not noticed any more punctures.

PS: not sure I noticed the weight advantage either…

i think continental ones are the best quality, but use whatever.

parker international have various types of road ones including lightweight for 2.50 each
dunno whats best for cx they all puncture so might just go lightweight..

I used the Schwalbe XXlights, still do as spares in my bag (tubeless now). They don’t puncture more than any other tyre in my experience, I absent mindedly left one in for a trip to fort william  Good if you’re not a constant wheelbasher and well worth the money, think how much saving 150g from each wheel normally costs.

That said, before that I used Tesco’s £1 tubes and they were good too.
