Can’t find a similar post. Thought I’d start one with my finger dislocation from Llandegla yesterday. Ironically went there for an easier time of it than the Somme-esque bomb sites of the Peaks. Anyway, it bloody hurts more now than when I did it. Photos just before my trip to A&E.

Yup. Looks nasty. Hope you get it sorted quickly. I’ll pray it heals with no mither.

I see you are a guitar player, you might have to start playing django style. I hope you get it back to full strength.

Haha, well spotted roper. We’re moving house next week and the wife wants to pack my guitar away. Maybe this was a subconscious way of making it that I can’t miss playing for a while.

It’s all popped back into place now and on the mend.

Django is awesome. I also am a guitarist. Knowing now that you play guitar puts your injury in a the category “nearly lost a limb” hope it fully heals so you can noodle effectively without impediment.

Ianc. When did that happen and how. If it’s current, I pray you heal quickly, if it’s in the past I hope it’s now a distant memory.

    Just a dislocation shermer75.

The pulling and popping back in hurt more than anything else.

Joining Hols in the ‘how on earth did you manage that?’ category. A little bit of a bruise after going over the bars on the descent from Blackstone Edge. When the bike landed, one end of the bars dug into the ground, I landed on the other end, and it went right into the back of my knee

Separated shoulder. The injury was nothing to look at, not even a graze.

    The surgery however:

    “looks great?” 😕

It is great though. 3 ligaments snapped through, it was all over the place before the surgery, 3 months after the accident.

6 months post surgery now and I’m very happy with it. Not quite as-new condition, but not far off. And I’m now bionic.

Glad to hear that it has healed up nicely Nedrapier. I’ve dislocated both my shoulders, not at the same time. Crashed bike 30 yards from the house I was sharing in Shelton, Stoke on Trent, after doing a 30 mile mega trek. Tyres fullomud, lost it wheelie hopping the kerb. That was left shoulder. T shirts always hung funny on me until I did right shoulder in near Delph after hitting patch of ice. That one really hurt but evened up my shoulder profile. T shirts now fit as they should, result.
