Evening all, I’ve got a set of 120mm rockshox revelations on my On-One Parkwood, their oem 2015 solo forks and I need to increase their travel to 140mm min to suit my new frame.
I know as they’re solo’s I can just swap the air shaft out to a different length to accommodate the extra travel, but has anybody gone to 150mm on these forks and found them to be a bit flexy? It’s a simple procedure to increase the travel from 120 to either 140 or 150, but I’ve never had a set of 32mm stanchion forks at 150mm travel, and thought it might be stretching it a bit.
Also, have you ever heard about on-one shortening their forks? I’m sure I read somewhere that they just shortened them with a spacer in which case I might just need to whip that out and get the full travel I need, but I can’t find any proper evidence of it.
Cheers in advance of any help.
