There have been a couple of threads , as of late , regarding too much seat post showing and then too many head spacers under the stem …
And then we had matey boy with the titanium runaround shopping bike , with 3 com of seat post showing and a 135mm stem … and the saddle way forward …

So what are the unwritten “rules of cool” in the MTB fraternity

What is the maximum length of seat post that can show?
    What is the minimum?
What is the maximum number of spacers that can be employed under the stem before the clan can all yell out “get a bike that fits”?
What is the divide between a riser bar and cowhorns better suited to a BMX?
And the all important – how far below the saddle should the bars be?

    This stuff is important ….
