Just moved house and my DAB only now gets about 4 local stations and Capital 🙁
It’s a Sony, with a silly little piece of wire as an aerial – like this
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sony-HCD-EH45DAB-Hi-Fi-System-DAB-Aerial-Genuine-Cable/400354892087 (same connector).
How can I improve it? Will a loop aerial help, like This?

    thanks

Neat little diagram, although I question the need to remove the sheath from outside of the braiding for lower half of dipole…

Thanks! But, my eyes aren’t very good do you have a bigger pic?

Err no, not my website (or design) but came across this and built one a few months back.
The DAB link at the top gives a bit more detail about how to build one, and for a length of coax, its worth a go.

OK, a more sensible question – how do I join the coax to my Sony aerial plug?

Dab aerial from screwfix, about 15 quid. Every channel going now.
