Just got myself an imac, all good with swopping data over and all that. But, Photos, i use lightroom for editing which has its own library for photos. But the iphoto also has its own library. I don’t want to be constantly updating each of these libraries.
Is there just a photo viewing piece of software a bit like windows fax/photo viewer?

    ideally for free.

    Or any tips

    Thanks

Preview can be used as a simple photo viewer.

Preview is your best bet. Or just use lightroom and ignore iphoto

Preview as mentioned. Just hold down space bar with the image selected.

Preview? how does that work then, do i just open a bunch of photos and scroll through them or can i set it up to go to that library?
I just dont want to load up up lightroom everytime.

As you describe – just highlght all the pics you want and drag them onto the preview icon

For the record, preview works with videos, pics, word docs etc and can be used when selecting one or several items.
