    Depends on how cheap your getting it.

    4gb of memory for my 2008 iMac has given it a new lease of live for £40.

    If it’s for homework, check what school sites use Flash- I think mymaths does, for example – I don’t think the G5 will be supported if they use a newish version of Flash.

    You can’t run a version of OSX past Leopard either- and this no longer has any support.
