    Bear with me here.

Mrs AB is after a couple of these artificial boxwood topiary single ball trees (sometimes called a lollipop tree).

Now I already have two of the artificial balls but can't for the life of my think of where I will get a length of imitation tree trunk/stick that is plastic but that won't look out of place to stick the balls onto.

    Any ideas?

I think BDs post can be translated as "why on earth would you want 2 giant green candy floss plastic ball things stuck on the end of plastic stick…?"

either that or "don't show that to my wife, she might get ideas…"

Handsomedog – he edited his original post. First one didn't make sense.

BTW, the are going to go under the eaves of our our house so have to be artificial. Done right, in big pots, they do look good.

As above just get real ones

Those big plants you see in banks & the like are real trunks & branches etc with all the foliage replaced with artificial

I do believe rocketdog posted a photo in our One Photo A Day flickr group roundabout March of a shop selling these. Maybe page him – I think the shop is in Warwick?

If it does, get another one.

There again, don't – sticks don't grow on trees do they!
