Just awful.. dreading the day this happens to my Lab as he has terrible hip dysplasia.

Thats it looks like my two best friends are about to get spoilt today.Really feel for u its such a hard decision to finally make but be positive and remember the lifetime memories.

We had 3 springers. 2 we had before the kids were born. They were absolutely part of the family, 100%. And we had one put to sleep 10 days ago – it was beyond awful. But, we actively talk about her, always about the 100’s of good times, her character, her daftness. It’s still grim, but we’re smiling and fondly remembering. We know it was the ‘right’ thing to do, but it’s so tough. Keep in mind all the happiness between you – it’s helped us.
