Driving to work this morning with the IF on the rear-mounted bike rack, pull up at junction and the Dodge Ram behind me decides to pull away before me! Pendle wheel-support rack demolished but luckily no damage to bike or my vehicle.
However, turns out the guy has a business that offers 'Specialist welding service for magnesium, titanium, aluminium and alloy steels / stainless'. He's prepared to replace the rack with new, fair enough, but I shall be meeting up with him to see the parameters of his welding services. They specialize in bespoke motorsport products but, you never know, they may be able to undertake ti frame repairs / modifications. Maybe even a bespoke ti bike rack…
