Could you take thousands of them and make a lovely warm coat with them? Has anyone ever made a moth coat?

Strangely enough, the first thing I thought when I saw it was ‘I bet that’s a moorland moth’

    Fasthaggis has it..

    18 Map-winged Swift Hepialus fusconebulosa
    (DeGeer, 1778)
    Wingspan 30-35 mm.

Often associated with moorland, this species is generally distributed across Britain, but is local in some parts.
