Blends in well on my Gritstone wall, but what is it ?

Im no lepidopterist but id say its a moth.

Common swift?

Could you take thousands of them and make a lovely warm coat with them? Has anyone ever made a moth coat?

Strangely enough, the first thing I thought when I saw it was ‘I bet that’s a moorland moth’
