My mum’s latest husband was a vegan for over thirty years, and he was a vegetarian before that..

He is a portly bastard with high cholesterol and a propensity for gout.. It appears that the worst effect of a vegan diet is an overbearing manner tempered with that weird and awkward brand of loud and hearty forced joviality..

He’s a different bloke after he’s guzzled a pound of mature farm cheddar though..
