So cable on my Forca dropper post had seized solid after riding it in some pretty horrible weather, got it all apart to find the cable inner and outer are cheap and nasty! (what did I expect for £80) After much GT85 grease etc. I’ve got it moving again for this weekends ride but will want to replace it pretty soon. The problem I came across was how to remove the cable from the metal pin that moves and holds the post in place. It looks like it has a plastic end cap which may be removable but didn’t want to start trying to prise it off incase I damaged it??? Does it come out and is there a trick to it? Any advice gratefully received???

pry the plastic cap off with a pick or a small flat-bladed screwdriver. The cable should come out no problem.
If you use a standard gear cable to replace it, you may need to file down the end-stop thingy to get it to fit in, doesn’t take much to do it.
