…needs to be 27.2x400mm with a bit of setback. And light.

USE's are too short. Lynskey is inline. KCMC is alloy not Ti. Van Nicholas is heavy. Moots is layback not setback, and also a bit too short.

What else is there out there?

My fall-back option will probably have to be carbon. Poss Syntace P6 or Kore Elite…

For that kind of money I'd want it to be perfect 😉

Pity you didn't want want a few months ago then.

FWIW it was, indeed, lovely but no better than a Thomson, not noticeably more comfy but it did match the Ti456 nicely. The only reason to buy one is the looks / perceived snob value.

You can get a Mozzo seatpost off ebay new for about 60 iirc at 400mm and 27.2, it's a normal seatpost which goes straight up and isn't inline.

Considering there are stipulations on the way the offset is achieved I imagine he'll be having convulsions at the thought of buying an inline post 🙂

Lynskey could probably make you one if you ask nicely, as could IF for that matter

I was just bimbling about on the classifieds and there is a 400mm Ti post for sale, its a smaller dia but a shim would sort it… Might be worth a look.
