So I know the plastic they are connected to are different.
    But
It’s the alloy part all the same?

I want to fit B alloy part to my A shifters, but do I need to get Xtr for Xtr?
Xt of xt or can i get SLX and fit the alloy part to my Xtr?

should never have upgraded the brakes.

    Good question!

I’ve just had to order a pair of covers to get my single XTR shifter working with my new brake lever 🙁 XTR covers are £32, XT £20 so nice saving if it works.

Hopefully I can sell the brand new ispec B left hand cover and the lightly used ispec A right hand for someone to convert bar mount xtr to ipsec A levers.

Just fitted my XTR i-spec b cover to my old ‘a’ lever.

I am pretty certain that the XT ones will work and you can pinch the alloy mount and the bolts.

The cover supplied with the new i-spec levers is exactly the same as the old one so you should be able to use the XT metal part on your existing plastic.

You’d then have an XT i-spec a cover you may also be able to sell.

I’m sure if you opened very carefully you’d be able to check and send back if not.
