  • I need some fat cyclo cross tubes, will 29" work okay?

Fat 700c tubes are pretty hard to find, but there are plenty of 29″ ones around.

Can I just pop a 29″ tube in? Given I’m running a 29″ wheel on a 700 tyre I guess it’ll be fine, but some confirmation would be good

    Thanks

Depends what you mean by “fat” and “29er” – if there is an overlap in the spec’d widths then you will be fine.

Looking at the shand stoater ft product page and they are running some ritchey 2.2 29er tyres on some iron cross cyclocross rims, so the tubes should be ok I would think.
