    TJ – when I had a problem with the council my local (independent) councillor really went out of her way to get it dealt with.

    If you can get to meet him/her and present your case you may well get a positive response and council officials seem to take far more notice of people who actually allocate funds to their departments than voters.

    TJ, does your local councillor have a surgery where you can pop along and explain the problem face to face? As wwaswas says sometimes councillors can help.
