I need some new grips, and I need some fat ones, because I have huge hands.

Race Face Strife is what I currently use, anything else of a similar or larger diameter?

Oury Lock-on’s? I had to sell mine as I thought they were too thick!

Are ESI chunky grips ok on a dh bike?

And if I use ESI will I get an RSI?

Four sets of ODI Longnecks in this house. I love them. Used to really suffer from arm pump and painful fingers on the DH bike and now I can go much longer.

Lizard skins north shore are the fattest I’ve found

Odi rogue are about the same as the strifes. I quite like the odi Yeti too. Gonna have to check out those lizard skins now though

If you want length rather than girth, Answer Stein 143’s might do it for you.

I rode with someone who was trying them out, he said they were comfy under his hands, but too long for his hands so pushed his controls too far inboard.

Lizard skins Northshore are ideal if you’ve got hands like a baboon

Oury are fatter than northshores. Both good though.

Superstar XLs. Longer and fatter, comfy, cheap and available in a massive range of colours and clamp colours. They wear well too

I have strafes on one bike and ODI rogues on the other. I prefer the feel of the rogues as they’re slightly softer and I don’t like the ‘flat spots’ on the strafes where there’s no pattern on the surface.

I use Rogues almost exclusively. I find them pretty comfy with reasonably large hands (and no, readers the old adage isn’t true).

I ruined my hands using the default half Nelson’s that came on my yt tues, numbness and tingling that still remains after 5 weeks. The northshores are excellent, the separate blocks really help to cut vibration.

It’s for this reason I want another pair of grips! The grips on the Tues are way too thin.

Oury lock ons. I find the rubber on the black ones is much softer than the coloured ones
