    Upon inspection the old one had several twisted links, so I put the new one on. Not sue if it was that or parks chain cleaner that caused the failure tbh.

    +1. It does a good job of making a gunky mess of the chain compared to Finish Line.

    It smells of blackcurrant to me. My experience is it goes to black tar though.

    Good luck with that: It’s awful stuff. Even the chain on my road bike was black after one short ride.

    Well, I used a sample as directed, perfectly clean chain, no corrosion. Can’t be worse than finish line wet. It was the new formula.

    Maybe you didn’t wipe it off properly, thats usually how chains attract dirt… *ducks*

    Smells nice, but relegated to the bottom of the toolkit. White Lightning much better…
