Got a pedal slash on my calf last week. Now it’s infected. I may die. The warning sign is an advancing red rash, but I’m too colour blind to see it 🙁

I had it after playing Rugby..

Had to spend 10 days in Hospital on a drip..

And it **** hurt.

one tries to look on the bright side :o) But bear with me, I’m so irredeemably healthy I have to milk every minor complaint to maximum effect or I feel left out 🙁

I find that quite comforting. It’s life that’s hard :o) Eventually they let you off…

so far I’m not willing to take a cross section of my leg to see if it conforms to that picture…

A guy I work with had an injury to his leg caused by falling of his moto cross bike, he fell into a muddy bog and it got infected.

At one point doctors wanted to remove his leg.

is he dead yet?

a fat guy at the place I used to work got this all time. we used to laugh at him. ha ha.

I always mock the afflicted too, but that’s because it’s not usually me 🙁

Back to the OP. I got it in my arm after falling down some steps.

Get it checked out as it can turn nasty quickly.

I had cellulitis a few years ago, got whilst working. I had to go into a deeply unsanitary house and got bitten by some kind of bug, and my leg inflated like a ballon. Very sore for a couple of weeks. Then it went away and I had no more problems.

The girl I was working with was an ex nurse and told me that once you’ve had this you have it forever more in your system. Nice.
