I have a kilein attitde V ... I want to get rid?

I have a klien attitude V hardtail alu bike. The paintjob is cool and is has high spec forks, SRAM top of the range mech, Chris head set etc...

I just dont like the ride. Its OK but no wow factor. The oversize alu tubing is unique however I have always had steel framed bikes in the past. The high level components does not inspire me either!

I bought it 2nd hand for £350 about two years ago. I think it might be worth much more.

I fancy a steel HT maybe even SS like a pipe-dream, kona old style or cotic simple/soul.

Thoughts?

If you don't like it sell it & buy a bike you do like with the funds from the Klein

It's worth whatever someone wants to pay for it, stick it up on ebay & find out how much it's worth, the retrobikers will find the auction and bob's yer uncle.

If you have a price in mind bang it on retrobike (you do need to have a price on the ad though), although they aren't ecstatic about users who just join up to sell stuff

Edited - just saw that it is, I remember trying to buy it off you at the time. Can't afford it now though...

Maybe, maybe not. Its a 'V' so probably a Trek version which don't go for as nearly as much as the original Kleins. Do you know what year?

I think its now about 6 years old (it was 4 years old but kit was completely replaced and upgraded 2 years old when I got it).

Post-Trek buyout Klein, so not really of interest to the Retrobods.
Ok spec, but nowt amazing. Slightly old-fashioned geometry wise compared to more modern bikes.
Probably worth about what you paid for. Maybe more if sold as parts.
Unfortunately it definitely isn't worth loads more - that would only be the case with a good condition 'proper' Klein, i.e. pre-Trek.

That said it's a nice bike which someone will want to own and ride.
