  • Huge feet – new Shimano size 48 dont fit nowadays – how do 5:10's compare?

I’m size whatever 48 equals in normal shoe sizing, Shimano’s size 48 used to fit fine but have just ordered a new pair and the are too small the trouble being that they dont make them in a size 49.

Not too bothered about sticking with SPD’s its just that I have them and it would mean buying flat pedals and shoes.

How do 5:10’s compare size wise? ie is size 47 realistic or like a Shimano and way too small for its stated size?

    TIA

I’m a size 12 in most shoes and my 5:10’s are size 12 and they fit fine (think they are 47 in euros)

I have recently swopped to flats for the same reason. 5.10 shoes are good in 48 and you can get 5.10 flat clippless.
If you can find Teva Links uk 13 they are great, but since production stopped 13s are hard to find.
The only place to do 5.10 off the shelf on line is Scotby
