a cry for help,

I'm just trying to convert a dt swiss 240 front hub back to 20mm from a 9mm conversion. I have the end caps for 20mm, guy in my LBS said that should be all i need, no different internals, but how do I get the current end caps off, is there a special tool or is it a wrench/workbench and brute force job?

No idea about DT but my BULBs have an allen key socket in either end of the axle. They just unscrew from each other.

thanks, just realised mine are like this, they seem to be insanely tight tho…
