    The plastic pre-load bolt on a hollowtech 2 crank, are there different sizes ?

    I’ve got an old Hone crank that I’ve lost the pre-load bolt for, & the one from my newer Deore crank doesnt fit. Or can you confirm I’m just thick…

    There are some different sizes to correspond with the different internal diameters of the chainset axles. My old LX cranks (same as your Hones I think) have a smaller ID than my SLX, XT or Saint ones.
