    Just to confirm.

New Bottom Bracket has came with 4 spacers rather than normal 3.
Two of them appear to be 2.5mm the others look to be about 1mm and 1.5mm

Obviously I’ll put 5mm on drive side and 2.5mm on the non-drive.

    Has anyone else noticed this?

That’s right, assuming you have a 68mm wide bb and aren’t using a e-type mech or anything else that needs to be clamped by the bb. The 1 and 1.5 will be to adjust your chainline if it isnt quite right.

Out of interest, what bb is it?

Yeah, mine was the same. I’m fairly sure the 2 thinner spaces are just for small adjutments to the chainline. If you don’t need to do that, just use the other 3 as normal (63mm shell = 2 driveside, 1 non drive, 72mm shell = just 1 on the driveside)

    🙂

    EDIT
Sorry, I misread the OP. You have 2xnormal spacers and 2 thinner ones. I kept the thinner ones and used an old normal spacer instead of the thinner ones.

That’s better, makes sense now! 🙂

PP you’ve got your numbers wrong.

68mm shell bb, no e-type mech, need 2 x 2.5mm spacers drive side, 1x 2.5mm spacer non drive side.
73mm shell bb, no e-type mech, need 1 x 2.5mm spacers drive side, nothing on drive side.
With an e-type mech you use one less spacer on the drive side.
