    Just seen an advert for the new HP Instant Ink.

    It says you’ll never run out of ink again but how does it work.

    Do they email you the ink so you can print it out at home?

    Presumably your Wireless printer sends its ink levels to Hp and they stick a refill in the post when the trigger is hit.

    I can’t see the advantage over popping to the shop to get some, but I suppose some heavy printing shut-in will get some benefit from it.

    I can see a lot of advantages in it.

    “Daaaaaaaad, the printers not working and I need to hand this homework in tomorrow!”

    Oh look, it’s out of ink. Again.
    Now if Andrex could invent an internet of things enabled bog roll, I’ll sign up for that too as that’s the only thing that we use more of than bloody HP61’s.

    @tthew sounds exactly like my house! I think my kids are secret investors and have got shares in bog roll manufacturing. Ha Ha
