    50p per dry is close enough for me.

    I line dry if possible, but its not always and everyone else just sticks their stuff in the drier.

    We did get a new machine recently that senses when the load is dry and stops automatically. I think that must save some money.

    I think the main point is it avoids baking and shrinking of your finest synthetic fabrics.

    Two working adults plus two young kids constantly getting dirty plus clubs and activities means

    Well ours is probably on three times a week, but it’s a big machine.

    We didn’t originally have the room to dry clothes, but we made it with a bit of creative thinking. Saves money and CO2 emissions.
