nooo dont do it stw is full off scammers and rip off merchants.

well thats what you would think if you did a forum search for the words “i paid via pay pal gift”

ohh ps. if the buyer pays via pay pal gift its your choice weather to send the item or not. Thats what the evidence seem to suggest anyways.

on a serious note dont bother with pay-pal gift

Price your stuff unrealistically high in the hope of catching somebody gullible who hasn’t checked how much stuff costs new (bonus points if you can sell your secondhand tat for more than the new cost). If anybody comments that your pricing is unrealistic, report them to the mods so that they don’t spoil your chances of making a killing.

From a sellers point of view they are all safe, however buyers will be wary of people demanding bank transfer or PPG as there is no come back for the buyer.

Use normal paypal and ask the buyer to pay the fees, or factor them in to your asking price. Or cash on collection, but that limits your market.

There is another way. You look through the wanted ads and spot someone who wants to buy something you have to sell. You send them a message via the forum, or even their email address if they’ve bothered to add one to their ad or profile, then they ignore you. You wait 24 hours thinking you’re doing them a favour and send them another message. They ignore you some more.

My second pet source of happiness is the buyer who offers you 25% less than your asking price, which you think is reasonable, and you reply that they could meet you halfway for a deal, only to find they never contact you again.

Scapegoat, what is really fun is when a punter makes an offer, you accept, they say they will contact you at the weekend to do the deal and to consider the item as sold. Then the weekend comes, and despite a friendly reminder, you never hear from them again! Hilarious fun!

    All that sounds about right.

Easier to use ebay to be honest.
